We visited a local Indian spot to try it out. We had the butter chicken and the tandoori chicken. Both had amazing flavor and i highly recommended them!

The staff is great. You can get non-spicy for the southern masses and clear your sinuses spicy good flavored food. The tikka masala is great. The samosa are wonderful but the veggie are my favorite. If you don't know what Indian food is the staff will be kind and explain what is what. This is the best Indian food I have had in Georgia.

Twenty-one years ago, I married a man from Conyers and moved here. Luckily, his biggest flaw is that he doesn't like Indian food, so I've only been able to have Indian food *very* occasionally since then. When I was planning my birthday dinner this year, I decided I was going to make him take me to the nearest Indian food restaurant for carryout, let him grab carryout from his favorite place, and go to a local park to eat. (I was thinking the nearest Indian restaurant was probably in downtown ATL.) I was so thrilled to discover that there is Indian food available less than five minutes from my house! I just ate some of the best Butter Chicken I've ever had. The portions are generous. I'm full but I still have a full meal left for dinner tomorrow. This place is amazing.

Two patrons were already singing praises to the chef and staff for their incredible culinary creations. The ambiance is refreshingly clean and spacious, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. I dove into the Chicken 65, opting for medium spice as recommended. Wow! The Chennai spices melded perfectly with the tender chicken, delivering a burst of authentic flavor that danced on my taste buds. Next up was the Chicken Ghee Roast, and oh my goodness, words fail to capture its magnificence. Simply put, it's a must-try! Indian cuisine often flies under the radar, but Yellow Handi is a shining star that deserves all the accolades. Do yourself a favor and experience this gem--you won't regret

Food was delicious! Customer service could use some improvement; hostess was not very friendly. For a hot day in Georgia, the AC wasn't on. I'm giving it a 4 because the food was delicious

The last time I visited Yellow Handi, I placed an order of Kadahi to go. The dish was very tasty, but I was a bit shocked to see a 5% surcharge because the order was 'to go'. Needless to say, I may return and dine in (because everything I've ordered there was tasty, but I'll never order to go!

The food was fresh and well-seasoned. We got the shrimp biryani, salmon tikka, garlic naan, Punjabi samosas, and iced chai. I would get everything again. The service was also really good. Our waitress was very helpful while we placed our orders, making sure we did not unnecessarily up the spice levels on certain dishes. All in all, I say Yellow Handi is a must try, and I will be back!

My daughter and I wanted to try Indian food for the first time so we went to the Yellow Handi. The restaurant was spacious and clean. I loved how the rows of tables weren't up on each other. The Indian culture was tastefully exhibited. The waitress was very patient and handled the entire front of the house. We explained that it was our first time and about my many allergies and she was so sweet and accommodating. The server was pleasant too. We ordered the Biryani with Chicken, Biryani with Shrimp, the Tandoori Chicken (bone in), the Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassies. We definitely ended up with too much food. The waitress tried to warn us. Lol. The meals can definitely feed multiple people. If you have a small stomach like me, don't drink the lassi first or you'll be too full for the meal. The food was fresh and flavorful. You could taste every herb and spice. My daughter who doesn't like spicy food rated her food a 9 out of 10. I rated mine a 9.5 out of 10. We will definitely be back to try more things. I'm limited in what I can try, but still excited to have a new cuisine to explore.

I've been searching for an Indian restaurant, and I'm so glad that we discovered this one. The food was delicious. We had the Kurkuri Bhindi and Malacani Fry Chicken for appetizers. The okra was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the chicken had just enough heat to it. Grandma enjoyed the Masala Fried Shrimp. The Korma Chicken had a bit of sweetness to it, which balanced nicely with the spices. The Butter Chicken and the Chicken Ghee Roast were very flavorful! Both the Garlic and Butter Naan were good, but I personally felt the butter was a better vessel for all of the flavors. Definitely enjoyed the Nimbu Pani, and only disappointment was that we were too full to enjoy a dessert. I definitely recommend picking different meals and sharing! The service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and helped us choose something that we would enjoy. They checked on us often and kept our water glasses filled. The space was open and inviting. It wasn't overly decorated.
